Itinerary:
At 8:00 (for the morning tour) or 12:00 (for the afternoon tour), our tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel or your specified places that you had already noted in the booking details. Get on the back of the bike and we will see a real Saigon on a Vespa. Vietnam Vintage Vespa Tours will ride you through many streets, alleys and markets. At first, we will stop at Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Saigon Central Post Office - two of the highlights of Saigon. After that, our tour guides will ride you to Independent Palace - an architecture, a building in Ho Chi Minh City. This was the residence and working place of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. Next stop will be a sacred hundred-year-old temple which is famous for praying for children - Ngoc Hoang Pagoda. Then we will go to District 3 and visit The Thich Quang Duc Statue. There is a historical story hidden behind this monument so it is recommended that you should come and get to know the story. The three next stops will be a local market, a narrow street for enjoying coffee and the famous Ho Thi Ky flower market. This is a chance for you to take part in the ordinary life of the citizens. We may have many local interactions, personal connections and cultural exchanges in these places. Next, we will visit the house at 287/70 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City there. This place once hid more than 2 tons of weapons of the Saigon Rangers during the war against America to save the country, especially during the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of Mau Than (1968). Today, the young generation and foreign tourists love to visit this secret weapons bunker in District 3 to learn more about the heroic fighting period of Vietnam's ancestors. In the end, when the heat of Saigon reaches its peak, we will pass by China Town and visit Thien Hau Pagoda before having lunch (for the afternoon tour, lunch will be included at the beginning).
