Itinerary:
In the early morning, At 5:30AM, our English speaking driver team will pick you up at your hotel or at a specified place. Then we will drive you to the place which is going to become the residential area and administrative office of Ho Chi Minh City in near future. We will sightsee the sunrise and other sides of city from the riverside view and get immersed in the cool breeze.
After that, we continue on driving you to one of the most hustle and bustle market of Saigon in district 4, the unique island of the city. Then we will drive you pass by many alleys which you can see many street vendors starting a new busy day, plenty of fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, and local worshiping. Next, we will visit the house at 287/70 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City there. This place once hid more than 2 tons of weapons of the Saigon Rangers during the war against America to save the country, especially during the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of Mau Than (1968). Today, the young generation and foreign tourists love to visit this secret weapons bunker in District 3 to learn more about the heroic fighting period of Vietnam's ancestors.
We go on visiting the unique floating market of Saigon in district 7, where you can experience 100 percent local life, enjoy fresh coconut and interact with locals. The floating market is where plenty of boats from the Mekong Delta dock for selling products. Boat is their house and is always piled up with tropical fruits and vegetables. Driving over the bridge which connect district 5 and the island will give you contrast views between modern districts and poor ones with a lot of stilt houses along the riverside.
Continue on visiting the biggest flower market in Saigon, which supplies most of flowers for the whole city. Then, we will stop at a local coffee shop in the park (bird café), enjoy and learn how to make Vietnamese coffee while listening to the bird’s singing. This park is also where locals do Taichi every early morning.
