The streets, where much of the city life takes place, are a jumble of markets, shops and pavement cafes. Everywhere you turn there are rolling food carts and vendors selling wares spread out on the sidewalk.

Itinerary:

The first place to be is the REUNIFICATION PALACE: One of the most unique and historically palace throughout Vietnam, which used to be the head-quarter of the old government before the 1970s. The destination is now selected to be special heritage as it keeps a lot of monuments and remnants.

Then, the next places will be NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL, and SAIGON CENTRAL POST OFFICE, just nearby the palace. Both of them are the symbols of Ho Chi Minh city. These Gothic styled French colonial building was physically being built around 1880- 1886. The Cathedral was nominated as a Basilica by the Vatican, the other one was designed by famous architecture - Gustave Eiffel.

Back to the nicer side of Saigon and Vietnam, you will be able to see the impressive structures of OPERA HOUSE. The most important building of the City is the CITY HALL located at the end of the beautiful WALKING STREET - a must visit place in Saigon these days.

Getting to the WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM - the place that highlights the sad time in Vietnam's history. However, it is definitely a unique destination to set some prospects on your trip to see how the country has come and how it is heading in the future.

Last but not least, we will stop at the JADE-EMPEROR PAGODA, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples dedicated to King of Heaven and filled worth exquisite and phantasmal statues.

At the end. we will drive you back to the hotel, ending the tour with gifts to our beloved tourists, and let us have the honor to say goodbye and see you again soon as a friend.

The secret armory in District 3

Nestled in an alley in District 3, the idyllic house is an evidence of history. Being a hiding place for nearly 2 tons of weapons of Saigon Rangers during the offensive and rebellion of the 1968 Tet Offensive, the small house on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street became a historical evidence. Everything there speaks of Vietnamese heroic victory. Mr. Tran Van Lai (Nam Lai) bought this house and turned it into a base for weapons in agreement with the commander of the unit.

Weapons hidden in the armory were used for the battle to the headquarters of Nguy - Reunification Palace. The transport of weapons from the point to the secret basement into the city was extremely difficult and dangerous. If detected by the enemy, the rangers must destroy their weapons by themselves, which means sacrificing their secrets to both the shipping route and the hiding place.

The construction of this armory was carried out secretly and safely. This had contributed significantly to the victory of the General Offensive 1968 Tet. The Saigon Rangers suddenly captured the targets. 15 soldiers of Team 5 received weapons from the house, then bravely headed toward the Independence Palace to conduct a daring battle.
